Note for participants and authors using spam-filtering software:
If you use the online paper submission and/or registration services, please make sure that the automatic notification emails that will be sent by the associated servers are not erroneously filtered by your anti-spam software!

With your congress registration you will receive a public transport ticket for the entire Vienna city area, which will be valid for the duration of the conference (i.e. Monday to Wednesday, to be issued when you pick up your registration package onsite).

We invite you!
After Orlando (2002) and Toronto (2003) the IEEE SENSORS now moves to Europe: The Vienna University of Technology will host the 2004 Conference.
The Conference includes sessions on the theory, design and applications of sensor devices and systems; tutorials; and exhibits. Special sessions will be organized by experts focused on a variety of sensor topics.

The Conference Proceedings will be an IEEE publication, which will be part of the IEEE Electronic
Library that is available to more than two million people around the world.
Authors are invited to submit original work in these fields.

Hosting City: Vienna

Vienna, the capital of Austria, is one of the most beautiful cultural centres of Europe. Best known as a town of fine arts and music, Vienna is also a place of very impressive historical architecture. Situated in the heart of Europe, Vienna plays a major role as a bridge between East and West.
See the sights of Vienna: the worlds capital of music is a unique city monument with highlights from the Middle Ages and the Baroque era, from Historicism and Art Nouveau - complemented by contemporary architecture.
Congress participants and accompanying persons will have the opportunity to attend concerts and theatre performances, to have dinner in one of the excellent Viennese restaurants or to visit Vienna at night. Tours can be individually booked at a dedicated booth on the conference site.
The conference venue itself is located at the Vienna University of Technology, which is in walking distance from the famous Staatsoper, the Musikverein, and many other major sights.
